Thirty years ago, Pokémon first hit shelves — and I was hooked from the start.
Like a lot of collectors, life pulled me away from the hobby for a while. Then in 2021, everything changed: my daughter started getting into Pokémon, and through her eyes I fell right back in. These days I'm an avid Master Set collector myself, chasing down every card in a set the way only a fellow completionist understands.
In 2023, my daughter and I started vending at local card shows together — a way to help fund our own collecting habit as much as anything. That shared passion kept growing, and in late 2025 it became PokeNova TCG. We started streaming on WhatNot, began showing up at card shows more often, and have since grown into selling on eBay and right here at PokeNova.ca.
